Police in the Netherlands arrested two 17-year-olds last week over claims that Russian intelligence recruited them to spy on the headquarters of European law enforcement agencies.
According to Dutch media, on August 16 authorities observed one of the teenagers carrying a “Wi-Fi sniffer” near the headquarters of Europol and the EU criminal investigation agency Eurojust, and near the Canadian embassy. The National Public Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the arrests but declined to provide further details, citing the age of the defendants.

Wait how did they catch the kids? Wouldnt walking past Europol with a WiFi sniffer be undetectable since you’re only receiving packets.
They must have done something to alert them.
