Support Engineer San Francisco - In Person About RetailReady We’re RetailReady (YC W24), an AI-powered supply chain compliance engine shaking up an antiquated (and yes, unsexy) industry. Since YC, we raised a $3.3M seed round and signed over 15 enterprise customers… we’re officially in scaling mode. What We Build RetailReady is the first AI-powered compliance engine designed for retail supply chains. We automate the messy web of compliance requirements between brands, warehouses, and retailers, turning weeks of manual work into minutes of automation. Our platform integrates deeply with warehouse operations and connects with customer systems via EDI, APIs, and flat files. We don’t just build dashboards. We build the nervous system of compliance inside a warehouse. The Role We’re hiring a Support Engineer to be the first line of defense when issues arise. You’ll troubleshoot customer questions, diagnose technical issues, and flag deeper bugs for our on-call engineering team, keeping operations smooth across our growing customer base. You’ll also help us scale smarter by documenting common issues and writing internal + customer-facing help articles to train our AI support model. This is an in-person role in San Francisco with early hours (5 a.m. – 2 p.m.) to support our East Coast customers in real time. What You’ll Do Respond to and resolve customer issues in Slack, email, and in-app chat Troubleshoot technical issues and identify whether they require escalation Reproduce and document bugs for the on-call engineering team Write clear help articles and process documentation to expand our AI support knowledge base Track recurring support patterns and collaborate with product and engineering to eliminate them at the source What We’re Looking For Early riser, okay with 5 a.m. SF start and early finish Obsessed with customer success and takes pride in fast, high-quality support Analytical mindset… able to debug logs, APIs, and light data mapping Detail-oriented and organized under pressure Bonus: technical degree Bonus: experience in supply chain Bonus: experience writing or maintaining knowledge bases   Why Join Us Now Ground-floor opportunity: Join a fast-growing YC-backed startup redefining supply chain tech Real impact: Your work directly supports live warehouse operations across the U.S. Collaborative team: Work alongside product, engineering, and implementation daily Winning culture: We’re building a generational company - and we play to win Location & Compensation Location: San Francisco (in-person, 5 a.m. – 2 p.m. schedule) Benefits: Full health coverage, unlimited PTO, latest equipment Ready to Join? If you’re an early riser who loves solving problems, thrives in fast-moving environments, and wants to help power the next generation of supply chain tech - we’d love to hear from you.
