President Donald Trump has taken an extraordinary step in his efforts to turn his birthday into a national celebration, with the National Park Service revealing that on June 14, his birthday, admission to national parks will be free for U.S. citizens.

In addition, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth have been removed from the schedule of free park admission days, despite both being federally recognized holidays.

    here we go again with Americans thinking they are the fucking bellybutton of the universe… there are worse people on the planet than Donald Trump, his death won’t be celebrated “globally

        Well, don’t get me wrong. I don’t like the man any more than you do. But I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that most people on the planet does not give a fuck, or might even know who the guy is.

        My critique is not of the intent of the message, just the fact that ppl from the US think that all that happens in the US must be on the world agenda, and is probably that most important thing in the universe right now…

        This self importance is tiring, and stretches from left to right in US politics.
