  • Companies like Apple say the password has to have a capital lowercase number and 8+ characters. But leave out that your password can’t be something you have used in the last year, can’t contain your name, birthday, or email address. Those errors will come up separately. In this case it would say you can’t reuse your password. It doesn’t say your last password because it wasnt your last password. Some people just don’t use the password daily/weekly, so they forget 6 times a year and have to keep resetting it.

Also the number of people forget their passcode because they use face/touch id all all the time is higher than you’d expect apparently. I knew someone who used to complain about it when they did support for them. Essentially people plug their device in every night, use it daily and never turn it off so it always accepts face or touch. Then they leave automatic updates on … and it restarts for an update and they can’t get back into their device because face/touch doesn’t work on first boot, it is a subsidiary of the passcode and cannot be set up without the passcode.

Then since they forgot their passcode, they have to wipe everything from the phone to bypass it… But of course they don’t know their password so they can’t sign back into their account and it is then activation locked because that’s how they prevent people from using stolen devices.

Then the extreme cases dude was telling me at that point is they changed their phone number at some point, so they can’t reset their password without it, it takes days if not a week to recover the account, all the while their phone is a brick

  • I agree with the sentiment, but it isn’t close to the same. Russia mobilized 100,000 troops to gather at the Ukraine border in 2020 before Biden became president. Trump has sent an additional 2,400 troops to the Iran area after starting the war. The meat grinder effect won’t work the same. Russia loses more troops a day sometimes than the U.S. has deployed. That’s why he doesn’t care. He knows he can always compare to Russia/Ukraine and “look good” while it is unfathomably stupid for him to do so.

  • Don’t forget Bondi wasn’t even their first choice. Bondi is just who they used because they couldn’t get Matt Gaetz the position. Someone he could blackmail into doing anything because they already have the evidence that he trafficked and raped a minor. Gaetz assistant pled guilty and is in prison with a shortened sentence (14 years) with the agreement he would testify against Gaetz. Both Florida and the U.S. put the files in a drawer and essentially labeled it blackmail and let him walk free until they need to use it against him. He wasn’t found not guilty, wasn’t even tried, they just put them in a corner and said… Maybe later.

  • The porch outside my door is 2 steps up and a landing pad that doesn’t allow for Enough room for me to open the door and have any meaningful hand off. Like if someone was holding a pizza they would have to step backwards down the stairs when I stepped out. So unless I am waiting outside the door when they get to the driveway I prefer them to just set it down

  • I was trying to weed my garden planter to plant stuff for spring a couple weeks ago and started ripping up big chunks of grass/roots that had grown in there. One of them pulled up a big thing of fur. Was confused until I looked to see what it was. Saw a pile of little baby bunnies. Ended up just covering them back up with the fur and going back inside. My laziness took that as a fuck it guess that’s their spot now.

I probably should have weeded the rest and still planted, but I figure the bunnies will probably eat whatever I plant there anyways

  • I think their point is that the van was a much easier storage vessel, with room and penetration power. Getting out of the van and walking 30 feet has miniscule change on the effects of a munition that’s blast radius and fallout are so large.

The entire idea of a vest/backpack/portable device would be more so you can get behind enemy lines by say parachute or such. Although there is no point of a parachute as you don’t need to cushion your fall, and no need of the person if someone was already letting you leave said flying device.

  • By principle I do many a thing that are against my “best interest” when it comes to relations and things that would help promote me financially. That doesn’t mean I haven’t also fucked myself over financially financially in other ways. But Ive walked from a job with nothing in savings and no safety net out of principles that the company probably will never know about nor care who I was at the end of the day.

My income ended up halved and my savings are still empty, but I sleep better at night, and now when I drink it’s for fun and not the dread of who’s lives would be ended/impacted by the fruits of my and others labor.

  • We have AI built into some tools I believe, but I have never been told I had to use them. The truth is they don’t work all the time for every situation and the client is more worried about user data accidentally getting scooped up and spending time warning us to never enter any users information anywere, even so much as notating a user saying they have a limitation that explains why we performed a task in a non standard fashion is a complete not happening.

So if someone said, “I am vision impaired,” someone reading our notes would probably be wondering… Why the f didn’t they just do a,b,c it would have been much easier. But they are worried if those notes get integrated into something the AI gobbles up in the future, they don’t want to get sued for that user information to somehow be linked to them. As that could be considered medical data I guess.

The funny part is, if an AI does use that data for learning now, it may start trying to instruct or perform tasks based off of highly inefficient solutions designed to assist a specific disability

  • Yeah I don’t see how it would even be a “textbook definition.” This could have been anything and is purely speculation.

That said the U.S. defines giving (not receiving) aid or comfort to an enemy of the state as treason… So taking a bribe isn’t giving them comfort. Removing sanctions on Iranian oil the other dayl could be giving them comfort, but that still wouldn’t likely count.

More than likely if he’s not just talking complete bullshit it means the CIA or someone reported they found a movement somewhere that they think they can give aid to and try to position in a certain way to take power while getting some kind of concessions like oil contracts.

Which looking at the history of what the CIA/US do with middle eastern countries over oil… Seems most likely.
