Since mainstream social media platforms often employ algorithms that amplify polarization and division to maximize user engagement, I’m seeking information about initiatives and platforms designed to foster constructive dialogue, mutual understanding, and healthy online interactions. I would appreciate any references to existing or emerging solutions in this space. Comments

In response to your ask - you can look into some of the 20vs1 debates on Jubilee.

I’m in the same boat. I feel that we need to be creating “content” that can be found on the places that people are getting their information.

    For example:

    • Short form videos that provide an overview how complex topics work: tariffs, what is DEI, what is CRT, Breaking Down Conspiracy Theories - where it came from and why people think it’s true.
    • Infographics that are sharable for other people that show how ideas become conspiracy theories, and where people are getting their information from, that explain some of the topics that go in these short form videos.
    • Longer YouTube videos that go deeper into these topics and possibly bring in subject matter experts.

I’m really looking to get involved with something like this.

Think Kurzgesagt but for politics and conspiracy theories…
