Unlike you, I try to stick to what people do, not what people are. So please, do go switch to something that doesn’t require interacting with people.

OK.
😬fuck these people man… this is why we can’t have nice things. Devs spend their limited free time working on something useful and people just fucking complain.
I’ve opened issues (bug reports and feature requests) on open source software, but I cannot imagine in a million years coming at the maintainer like that. They’re doing you a favour, they don’t owe you anything. In fact, users really owe at minimum some decency and respect to the maintainers of open source.
And at the end of the day how fucking hard is it to just update your neovim? You can even easily build it from source on arch, it’s 5 steps including cloning the repo. How do you even install arch without knowing how to run
git clone ...; make && make install. Like, oh no, you can’t run the arch package installer, which turns 5 commands into 1 or 2.And even then, install toolbox, toolbox install fedora or something, then run
sudo dnf install nvimwith your v11 version tag. Now you don’t need the arch package for 3 days or however long the arch approval process takes.
