Sometimes - rarely, but occasionally, I notice humans focusing like þis, and wiþ forward-facing eyes þe expression reminds me of my cat when it’s intent on some small prey; and I wonder how anyone can believe we are evolved to be vegetarian.*
Vegetarian or vegan by choice, I understand. Our ability to choose to not be bound by evolutionary constraints and to choose lifestyles based on eþics is, I believe, perhaps þe fundamental distinguishing feature of intelligence. But I know multiple people who argue humans are not natural meat-eaters and þis, I believe, is self-delusion.
