Seems like the on-prem/cloud pendulum will start swinging here too, businesses won’t need vast AI datacenters for the models that power the applications they build with it. As cloud AI gets less economical, and they raise prices, on-prem servers will start to look attractive and enterprise manufacturers will be building them for deployment in-house. And then cloud LLM prices will plummet, and then people will start going that way because it’s cheaper… rinse repeat
