      yeah if anything there shouldnt be a way to power a camera without the light or just dont have a light and have a cover built in

      Giving people a false sense of security while allowing governments to spy with the camera?

      I’ve never trusted the LED; I would need to be able to review the actual electrical traces on the board of the camera I’m using. Not even the schematic; I want to see the actual as-built board.
