“America” or the US? Let’s not lump everybody else in.

And so imagine, if workers were paid a living wage to the standard of the rest of the world, there would be a pile more income tax brought in instead of being sheltered domestically and offshore, which would fix how many other issues? But instead, let these companies not pay tax on their profits, and it never gets reinvested but rather offshored to avoid tax. And the middle class disappears, and public debt builds, until it all implodes.

Now eject all the workers that were paying taxes and doing the shit jobs on top of that.
