    I was recently at the airport and several restaurants had qr scans for menus, but they had their logo in the center of the qr code. This fucked up my scanner (graphene OS), but my wife’s iPhone could scan them.

      There’s enough error correction built in to QR codes that this is usually safe to do at the cost of the picture needing to be clear. TBH it sounds like the Graphene QR reader doesn’t know how to handle the error correction stuff.
