With only-“AI” problem solving, their life got traction to the point they started losing their life purpose, and hence the manifesto - to continue living as a human who has a purpose in life. I respect that. And, in the end, it’s human what is important, who is capable finding solutions for problems to be solved. This deserves living and invaluably priceless attitude in programming/development, I believe.

In the modern days, many people choose simplicity over accountability/realization/respect and just degrade the overall flow of the history who made everything for them to live, to prosper, to stay human. If they choose to not develop but just depend on some machine/vendor/algorithm inhumanly? This is a sorrow of now words.

The person is quite capable and experienced. If we search for the EMail from the manifesto page above, we may find many science-related articles from the same author. For example:

“Intelligence” is mainly the presence of intel, the information. Yet, this also means the origin of the inforamtion - the history. The modern LLMs and vendors erase/abolish/annihilate the history, and it’s one of the problems no one of modern “developers” that rely on LLM vendors consider at all.

The person has seen it, the life, is around 50 years old, and values the purpose of life, where many those who stand for “AI” just could not care less about their history and future. If you read it that way, it all makes sense.

You are then an impostor, not a true developer, if you do not face problems by yourself.
