I wonder if the SSD will last longer than the MacBook Neos. Probably.
Sounds like an easy way to get sweaty hands
They finally made the second generation MacBook wheel. As promised it is lighter due to the lack of screen or wheel.
There’s a whole computer inside every mouse. Presumably this one is millions of times more powerful and faster.
I would think putting the computer in the keyboard would make more sense. Lots more room, and you don’t move it around so much.
But I guess that was already done with the Commodore 64 🤷♂️
it’s not a commercial product, it’s just a youtuber that had a Samsung s21 flashed with postmarketos and rearranged the board inside the mouse for the lols
I think there’s a pi in a keyboard as well.
Nice. I should have assumed it had been done more recently.
Yeah, it’s an official release from rasberry pi: Pi400, Pi500 and Pi500+ are all keyboards with pi inside as an all-in-one. Bit like an Amiga 500 or Amiga 1200. Comes with a nice manual too for to help people learn a little programming.
Dell did that recently but I’d argue that’s also very dumb. Just get a laptop. Or a mini PC. There’s no logical reason to cram it into the keyboard (or especially the mouse). I’m sure it’s a terrible keyboard as well.
Dell did that recently…
links to HP
:-)
On a more serious/genuine note, thank you for sharing this. I did not know a recent/modern PC in this form factor still existed. I hope there are more options to choose from, than HP.
I know Raspberry Pi also came in a similar form factor.
Yeah HP haha
AI PC

It’s just meaningless marketing nonsense.
… which I won’t support with my wallet.
okay, well, this is basically every electronic device in 2026, so…you’re not going to buy any of them, right?
Correct.
Lots of those exist. My ergodox supports like 32 layers of keys.
Yeah, although the big benefit of a mouse is it’s super portable, and it needs one output to the screen and that’s it. I suppose the current limitation is that the screen needs USB-C output for power?
But it’s a great idea tbh! I’d prefer a linux device rather than android but other than that, great.
Still needs a keyboard, unless you like typing on an on-screen keyboard.
Since one of my hobbies is writing, I can’t imagine using a computer without a full-size, quality keyboard.
It probably has a Bluetooth adapter.
There are specialized keyboards that you may or may not consider “full-size” but, if you train on them, you can push over 100-120 WPM.
Smaller with contorts, so your grimy little fingers can reach everything at once.
What about something like those mmorpg mice, but with ~106 buttons
I actually quite like this. Also, if you can squeeze and AMD cpu into it, it could double as an iron.
I’m not sure this joke lands well given that Intel has had more thermal problems in their desktop processors than AMD for years now.
Either way, this looks like something Rosie The Robot would use in the bedroom

My dude absolutely throwing it back with Tourette’s guy.
I would also think of Nvidia 🤷
Well, this discussion is abt CPUs, and Nvidia isn’t really an option their for the normal consumer market. Their CPUs are enterprise and highly specialized for AI
Yes of course nothing wrong in that statement, but when thinking of (unreasonably) hot components, it’s definitely Nvidia.
In this case, it’s probably comparing AMD with some ARM based thingy.
AMD CPUs are known for high thermals?
My 3900X is still idling at sub 40°C on average, I’d say, still after 6 years. Never changed thermal paste.
My new 9950X3D idles at sub 45–50°C or so, bought in 2025.
Is that bad? 🙃
Just need a small generator on the mouse-wheel to power up ! I guess a very strong/fast finger, and around 2-300 rpm’s can generate enough power.
Kidding oc, but fun project.
