Video editing question for anyone familiar: how do you make that audio effect during that transition around 0:22 here? When it transitions to the Enterprise and they’re watching the video on the viewscreen, the audio changes a bit to make it clear that someone else is watching that video in the background of the scene. If I were to make a video like this, would I put a low pass filter on the audio or something? Some other kind of filter? Bonus points if you can tell me the exact Kdenlive effect to use.
High pass filter and compression.
I can’t get the vocals in this song to sound right. When applying these filters, the instruments do indeed sound muted like I want, but the vocals seem unchanged. Any tips?

Sorry I’m not an expert especially with vocals, most of the audio I work on is my own synthesizer stuff so no vocals. Hopefully someone with more experience than me can chime in.
Try a band pass. You need to remove both the low and high frequencies.

I think downvoters are misunderstanding this comment. I don’t think it’s accusing this video that we see here of being AI-generated at all. I think this comment is saying that Spock could be so embarrassed that he could accuse the video on the viewscreen of just being a fake AI video that was made to defame him.
It was about spreading fake (lore-wise) vids of everyone, thru using sci-fi (as for moment of making older StarTreks) tech.
I went for lore over there. Could also pick alt multiverse scenario where mr Spock did very different things.
I believe Nimoy, as an actor, really did appearance in many roles without an ai lol.
