I fix one error with AI, then another appears, then another part behaves in a way I don’t fully understand. After months of refactoring I had an uncomfortable realization: I may have built a system that is above my own level of understanding.

This is the issue. LLMs decrease the barrier to entry, allowing people who have no idea what they’re doing to “code”. People like that have no business coding anything until they’ve done away with LLMs and learned to code by themselves. Worth noting though, I’ve not seem many LLM vibers make this realisation that they’re out of their depth. That is refreshing.
