It might very well be, LLMs are very good at finding and patching vulnerabilities, of which the Linux kernel is rife.
If you look at the CVE lists over the last year, it’s insane what’s being found and fixed. And there’s no choice but to use AI, because the red teams are using it hard, and every vulnerability you find is a current zero-day being exploited. The only way to stay ahead is to hammer them off the same way before they get widespread.
