The idea that medical care is just OK to run 12 days of 24/7 on-call for an entire career but truck drivers have legally mandated breaks is just insane

“but continuity of care” there is no continuity of care, never has been, just cocaine and caffeine.

“Duty of care” if the hospital admin don’t hire enough people, and the work gets done, they’ll continue to hire fewer people.

It’s enraging that we allow compassionate people to be treated like this.
