Even if the answer was “Yes”, why the fuck would that be useful? Believe it or not, buying things is quite easy.
No, it can’t even understand basic things like product descriptions. I tried to use it to compare 2 different monitors a few weeks back when I needed a new one. It hallucinated all kinds of features that they didn’t actually have. Things like the wrong number and types of ports, resolution and refresh rate, etc. There’s no way in hell I’m letting it actually BUY stuff on it’s own after that.

The whole concept is insidious and pernicious.
The fact Amazon defaults searches into Chatbot chats is fucking obnoxious. Same with price history checks.
I don’t want a self interested agent intercepting my queries like this. (Yeah yeah, algorithmic sorting was already everywhere, but this is different. It’s talking to me.)
