When googling articles it seems they’ve updated this to say no charges or arrests will be made, but god damn is that not a dystopian line “police are still determining the appropriate charges to file” AKA “this guy didn’t break any law but we’re still trying to figure out how to lock him away.”

I mean that’s like 90% of US history. Especially for minorities and disenfranchised groups.
