Does any part of google make money that isn’t search? Seems like everything else they do is a loss leader that will sink when it’s carved off from the profitable part.

I’m going to disagree. My take on it is that DOJ will do some symbolic action like carving off some useless pieces and declare a victory against google’s illegal monopoly. But, they will completely fail to even acknowledge the core problem which is google’s overwhelming dominance of the search space.
