Honestly, I’m super interested in this project precisely because it isn’t c/c++. I do like that it’s rust, but that’s more of a bonus here than a feature.

I am excited to see these fundamental tools being re-written in any other language with an eye towards feature parity. Who knows when the next vulnerability or other malicious feature will be discovered here, and what it might be. Having these same tools in another language could help identify these things early, and limit their scope once found.
