it’s odd for an article that talks about open source, linux specifically, and it’s geopolitical implications wo mentioning the linux kernel maintainers group’s expulsion of russian developers since it’s the clearest geopolitical sign of one world hegemon leveraging it’s control over open source developers to suit its own goals.

i wonder if the same thing that the article identified with android, kubernetes & llama will happen with linux; a new operating system opened to the world to get around grip of american export controls like google & facebook did to get around amazon, apples, and openai’s grips.
