    Perhaps just never show 0% or 100%? Surely the computer is fast enough to start work before showing the progress bar, and if it’s all done it should move away from the bar.

      I don’t think that’s really the point they’re making. They’re advising not to round very low percentages down to 0% or very high percentages up to 100% because that can be misleading.

      (So I guess, in a way, they agree with you?)
