Yeah no shit. Copilots create utter shite that often doesn’t compile and services like Lovable and Replit make an unscalable mess.

Far from developers being replaced, I think there’s going to be a whole lot of work coming up where the subject is “I made this website with AI and I have no idea how to make it responsive or scalable. Please help!”

Who would’ve thunk. I do reviews of AI generated slop pretty regularly and while the code usually does what it’s meant to, it’s also a convoluted mess that does everything in the weirdest way possible and doesn’t respect code style.
