          Furthermore, the succubi received impregnation by mortals, whereas the incubi did the seeding. I would also posit that “concubi” would be their shared order/genus, not a separate iteration, as the laying is inherent regardless of position.

            Oooooh I like the spoken sound of ‘concubi’ but strictly aren’t concubines more so a pseudo-partner/marriage than a smash-and-pass like the incubus and succubus?

              That’s not how etymology works and you seem to be unfamiliar with the suc/incubus lore. “Smash & pass”? They’re demons of lust & lechery that proliferate such — not NYE finger-poppers. 🤣
