Edit: The codes are entered in the sound test screen, then you gotta restart the system via the controller by pressing Start, then hold the A button. It’s timed though, you gotta hit all the sound test samples in pretty quick for the cheats to work.
The game has a seemingly random ‘Sound Test’ option, which brings up a menu where you can test every single sound effect in the game. The sound effects are addressed in hexadecimal.
I think the main buttons are A and C, one increments the least significant digit, the other increments the most significant digit.
Its kinda hard to explain much beyond that, but I’ll dig around and see if I can find a tutorial on YT…
