Michael Dorn doesn’t look right unless he has latex glued to his face.
Yeah, watching Far Beyond the Stars the first time it was difficult to recognize him…without the makeup, his voice wasn’t as deep, and because he was actually smiling.
I remember reading an interview with René Auberjonois where he considered the makeup process important to getting into character and doing the Odo voice. I wonder if Dorn is the same way.
The hair is important too. The latest Worf hair took some getting used to.
