    This tracks. My company is flattening. After getting rid of all the junior engineers, the remaining senior engineers don’t really need management. Just hand them problems and let them cook.

      As long as you remember not to train your replacement for regular rates I enjoy the prospect of the inevitable conclusion of a senior engineer only system
