A proposed bill in Michigan has a broad reach that covers everything from adult AI content to manga and even depictions of transgender people. It includes a VPN ban to avoid workarounds.
So any business that does site to site VPN or user VPN will have to shut them off too?
Anyone who wants to connect to their home network remotely is now a criminal?
If anyone uses ssh to connect to a remote host, there could be tunneled content there also. Is that now illegal too?
What about using DNS over https? Since that prevents inspection of the domain name lookup, that would make it harder to inspect traffic. Is that illegal?
