Not only do I have four different kinds of USB-cables clogging up my drawers, now I also have two visibly different kinds of the “unified” new standard plus at least three nominally identical but electrically different kinds that will fuck up some devices’ recharging and some devices’ communication functions. FUCK YOU, INDUSTRY GROUPS! I’ll plead for mandatory ISO standards for fucking EVERYTHING and the death penalty for anyone even critizing standardization.
