Easy solution. Make all the alpha update testers be upper management. That should make engineering shape right up.

You know, one of the things I used to admire about Jeeps was their ruggedness and simplicity. They’re a lot less impressive as server farms on wheels than they were as cars.
They still make Jeeps with manual transmissions, manual transfer cases, and a simple straight 6.

Apparently, Jeep has been continuing that proud tradition ever since, if this article is any indication :)
So, I kid you not, I know someone who has one of these. It’s super sexy. Big tires, roof lights, the whole off-road-nine-yards. But to turn it on she has to do this weird combination of brake+turn signal+ignition (or something like that).
I said, at least no one can steal your car.

My mother has owned serveral used vehicles that came with… unintentional anti-theft measures.
