Growing up in a white, blue collar (mostly Democrat) family, I’m ashamed to say that I’ve seen this bullshit first hand. Sometimes overtly. Even after marrying in to an upper middle class white collar (mostly Democrat) family, I’m ashamed to say that I’ve continued to see this bullshit first hand. It’s just more subtle now.
I can’t change people’s minds, but at least I won’t raise my kids this way. Absolutely not.
People having to learn first hand is the problem I see plaguing the world. You can’t live 100 lifetimes, so we have to learn from other people’s experiences too.
