    Who could have thought that offering one’s likeness to strangers on the internet could backfire?
    Yes, it is terrible for the individual but was absolutely foreseeable. Especially with OpenAI’s “rather ask for forgiveness than permission” approach.

    If SORA is anything like my own experience with Ai Gen locally. (And image gen on reddit) sora Is going to be “dead” in 3-6 months.

    Yes it’s fun in the beginning. It’s crazy how far the tech has come. But when everyone can make everything it instantly loses any inherent value.

    You also very quickly discover the inherent features and restrictions of generation. Everything starts looking the same and you can almost tell how it’s going to look before you hit generate. And some things you just know won’t be good because of hard limitations

    Reddit was all over with dall-e and midjlurney images. But now it’s almost nothing, and users are essentially shunned for posting ai images.
