'AI' Sucks the Joy Out of Programming

I’ve used spicy auto-complete, as well as agents running in my IDE, in my CLI, or on GitHub’s server-side. I’ve been experimenting enough with LLM/AI-driven programming to have an opinion on it. And it kind of sucks.

    If you think it’s bad now, give it time. Then they’ll come to you to untangle the mess they’ve made.

    So a programmer goes to a code doctor. And he complains “Doctor, it hurts when I do this.” The doctor says, "Then don’t do that!
