Oh wow! I’m blessed to live deep in the sticks where there isn’t a high-voltage overhead line anywhere in sight, but I would welcome one of those giants in our landscape. They’re beautiful! Amazing that nobody thought of that before.
When I was at uni ~15 years ago one of my cohort did his dissertation on this. The idea has been around for a long time, they are just way more expensive than normal pylons (which are incredibly structurally efficient).
