Use cases like subtitles for the deaf, proactive AI that during conversations, and POV streaming enhance our thinking and communication. Mentra’s mission is to build universal interfaces between mind and machine. We’re a team of passionate builders in San Francisco and Shenzhen building the world’s best smart glasses. We believe that the best future for computing is open, user-empowering, and cross-compatible. We’re sitting on the most transformative technology since the iPhone and we need a Head of Growth to help us tell our story and show the world what smart glasses can do for them. The Role We’re hiring a Head of Growth to bring smart glasses to millions of people. Success looks like this: Mentra is what people think of when they hear “smart glasses”. Thousands of devs in February building apps on MentraOS. Dozens of companies ordering 10,000s of units by Q2 2024. Viral launch videos online define internet culture. Big content creators use our glasses in their videos to make better content. 100,000 deaf/HoH people in 2026 using Mentra live captions. The opportunity to show humanity that technology can once again be a force of good in the world. What you’ll do: Own product growth for Mentra. 2 key KPIs: WAUs on MentraOS Sales of Mentra smart glasses Leadership: Work with CEO to help align the entire team (engineering, design, content) for product growth Content team includes various third parties to manage: Internal hire - videographer Influencers Website Work with CEO to own the content on the site Work with design team to design a new website PR Ads Events Grow mind share in devs, B2B, deaf/HoH consumers Email Community update Email marketing DRIP campaigns Content Lead content for our own socials B2B Help create B2B content Enterprise conferences Affiliates: Run programs with affiliates like influencers, UGC, and community ambassadors What we’re looking for: Track record of success in a growth role. Have you launched a high conversion email campaign, got into the New York Times, went viral on TikTok, or helped a startup scale to 100,000 users? Let’s talk Ownership: ready to dive in and setup various systems across all of growth.  Wide skillset: Marketing, product, communication, events, content, etc. IRL in San Francisco. Proactive, high-ownership, crazy passionate about smart glasses/AR. Apply if you want to scale the next personal computer to billions of users.
