Canada has jury trials. www.justice.gc.ca/eng/csj-sjc/just/12.html anyone charged with a criminal offence for which there can be a prison sentence of five years or more has the right to a trial by jury

Maybe look at the context surrounding why they are getting rid of them and the differences in legal systems across EU members.
Neither does Canada.
