Canada has jury trials. www.justice.gc.ca/eng/csj-sjc/just/12.html anyone charged with a criminal offence for which there can be a prison sentence of five years or more has the right to a trial by jury
Hate to break it to you but most of EU doesn’t do jury trials at all. Calling this authoritarian is dumb as fuck
