Why?? There is 0 reason to stop manufacturing sata. Infact build us LARGER sata ssd’s FFS! I want 20tb sata ssd!!
There’s one really big reason: you can use the capacities to build NVME drives or similarly expensive things.
You can put an NVME into a SATA enclosure easily.
