This sounds exactly like what the CIA would say to make us THINK they have tools that can takeover our phones, TV, and car!
Definitely can’t take over my car. My car is old.
My car is old, my TV is old, and my phone runs Graphene OS. I’m not worried about the CIA in particular, but maintaining my property rights free of interference (whether corporate or government) is my non-negotiable requirement when shopping for technology.
Now it’s even easier to understand why the push for iot and everything connected, despite the people hating it.
