I thought about making this functionality 7 years ago(but without the paywall for switching units of measurement).
For some reason I thought it would be good to give each ingredient a colour, and then each time it comes up in the Directions steps, use the same colour for that ingredient.
May look too cluttered with colour though. Perhaps having a button to turn on/off Rainbow Recipes.
