I noticed these spots on the inside of one of my cat’s ears. She’s only got them on the one ear, and they don’t come off when rubbed, both with my fingers and a wet washcloth. No signs of irritation and I haven’t noticed her scratching at that ear.

I think they look like blackheads, but search results mainly show cats getting blackheads on their chins. Similar looking photos of spots in ears have comments suggesting flea dirt (she’s an inside cat + I’ve seen no other signs of fleas) or allergies (no changes to her food).

I’m thinking of trying a bit of vegetable oil to see if that loosens them, but has anyone else seen these kinds of spots on their cats?

Cat tax:

My Maine coon HATED getting cut, but sometimes he needed it.

We’d get our short hair cat cut also because “fuck you if your brother is gonna look dumb so are you” and he LOVED IT

Pretty sure the torts in those photos are plotting assassinations. You can see it in their eyes.

That’s fair, I’m not sure if it’s just something I noticed recently and it’s hard to spot in pictures.

          Mid November:

Even if it is new, I know pigment changes in young cats is normal. Probably just being an overly concerned cat mom ._.’

Feline acne. Non-severe. Just use a bit of ear cleaning fluid and a cotton ball. It’s a bit hard to tell though. If they have it on their chin aswell, its definitely acne. It’s super common, though. Definitely not something to worry about. One thing that can cause mild skin reactions like that are a change in diet/ environment. It’s honestly impossible to give a diagnosis, though. That’s just my gut feeling after working with animals for years. Kitty is probably fine.
