Hm, interesting. I certainly wouldn’t mind replacing shell script with something more structured and less brittle. The performance gains are very nice too.

I’d like some more information about how it works and integrates with the system though. Presumably the JIT’ed native code is cached somewhere a la the CLR, but where, when and how?
