That’s right. “Health insurance” here in the US doesn’t cover eyes or teeth! Those are luxury body parts that you don’t REALLY need to live.
Edit: Well… TECHNICALLY both of them would be covered if you choked on one, for example. Or maybe if you caught a stick through the eye into your prefrontal cortex. But vision, reconstruction, and really anything to do with teeth while they are attached to your skull parts is not covered.
