I agree with this, and I like the way the post is laid out. I’m one of the software devs at my company pushing hard for accessibility (and getting nowhere). Unfortunately, it seems like the Venn diagram of the group of people who care about accessibility and the people who have final say over resourcing it is basically just two circles.
From a corporate perspective, the counter-argument to everything in the article is just “anything beyond the bare minimum doesn’t have enough ROI.” Or in the case of some companies I’ve worked for, “we’re willing to risk the lawsuit, we’ll just settle.”
