    Eh, or just buy an android. How dumb is this shit?

    I support it, don’t get me wrong… But like, guys, we solved this over a decade ago.

      1. This is not a problem that needs solving, it’s an artificial barrier to prevent you from using the device which reduces profit for the manufacturer. Being able to install and run whatever software you want (apart from actual hardware limitations) has been part of personal computers since the invention of personal computers.
      2. Google is trying its best to do this as well, if you’ve missed the news.
