Checked the comments, so far the sources seem pretty weak, an interpretation of a CEO quote and an addon review conflict that could be a simple mistake.
Yeah I was just looking at that post. “Proof” my ass, more like “being influenced by opinionated blog posts”. I especially liked the part where the neowin author described Manifest v3 as being “lighter on processor and memory usage” as if that’s the reason for it to exist.
It’d almost look like astroturfing if it wasn’t so weak.
