Some of the wording on nilch’s “About” page is concerning to me.
“I run nilch myself in a not-for-profit style”
In the style of a not-for-profit? What does that mean?
“nilch doesn’t really track you”
Nilch doesn’t really track me? Does it kind of track me?
yeah, beyond that i’m feeling really odd about the general lack of any information.
- is this a metasearchengine or does it have its own index
- what other search engines does it query or how does it build its index (and what’s the size/focus)
- what’s the focus in ranking
- show me the source
really, i read the about page and it sounded like a politicians speech. there are some good points, but it really lacks in tangible/ falsifiable information.
