I agree with the sentiment. Don’t mess up the intended color mix. But:

Hard disagree. TBH I wish more stuff was filmed at a higher framerate.
In fact, I’ve got family set up with SVP and pretty good native TV interpolation, and now that their brains have adjusted, native 23.97 feels sluggish to them.
24 FPS being “cinematic” is the same kind of thinking as “film is better than digital”. Of course 60+ can feel dry and jarring if filmed inappropriately, but not if filmed with it in mind… or edited later.
Also, if you can’t afford high end internet/equipment for the highest bitrate streams, some of those “trash” settings like edge enhancement and denoising (especially deblocking) help a lot.
