The method is based on a recyclable filtration fluid consisting of a superbase-alcohol compound. One gram of the new compound can absorb 156 milligrams of carbon dioxide.

    Sadly they are talking about recycling the CO2 instead of making it a stable solid and burying it

        The fluid yes, but they heat it up to get the CO2 out of it so they can reuse it.

        So this gets us a mostly pure CO2 gas. Which is great absolutely, but if they just sell it on the market it will get vented back into the atmosphere.

        I know they can pipe CO2 gas into greenhouses and some of it will get captured into plant matter at least.
