    Because like other types of digital media, once it’s created the duplication and distribution costs approach zero. Thus, if someone is willing to put up the efforts of creation for the public good we’re all richer for it.

    Because companies decided to stop letting us pay for software so the line could keep going up.

    That and people are too cheap to buy a $2 app.
